Renders from page 48. Nothing special and infact will make a massive glass wall with their other development next door. Will fill in a big hole though.
I'm happy for it to create a glass wall with the one next door. Sure beats a brown, beige or grey concrete wall 8)

There are many more visualisations contained in the PDF.

The north/south glass façades will be vertically folded (similar to U City opposite) so that should somewhat help break up the wall of glass from the neighbouring buildings.

I don't understand why they've forfeited eastern views for most levels but at least that elevation is not completely blank.

All in all, it's pretty bland - it could do with some colour! But it's a lot damn better than the carpark, so I hope it gets up. Anyone looking for this much office space?

Is an extra bloody 6.5 metres too much to ask?

Am I the only one who sees the building as changing height throughout the different renders? (Yes I know it's just extreme perspective  )

This is a surprise out of nowhere. Will really add to the emerging bulk and density of Flinders Street that will start to emulate Waymouth and Pirie Streets. The angled glass mirrors the U-City development well.

The Franklin Apartments next, are they heritage listed?

If so, why no windows to the eastern wall?

The northern facade looks promising, though I despise that blank wall. There is no need for it.

Thanks mate, I thought it was. No excuse for not having windows on the eastern wall. It's not like the core will run up the eastern side of the building..!

Has got lots of potential, but that blank wall badly lets it down.

As others have said before, it's not a blank wall.

Lack of windows then. Eastern side is average on an otherwise pretty good design.

Why is that building heritage listed? How old is it? Pardon my ignorance I’m not quite sure what it is used for.

Pretty sure That building is apartments or temporary accomodation. I could be wrong, often see many people with suitcases in that street. The building was built in early 1940s.

In regards to the design, not a huge fan. Not sure why but I’m not a huge fan of those windows or the general style of the building. Maybe it’s just the render? would much rather a Bentham style Spire Design be resurrected and stuck there but that won’t happen.

The skyline will look so weird viewing from the airport with Kodo and this.

Again, it could be just the renders, maybe they’ll update it.
