There appears to be 2 service /lift cores, one at he front which is being formed up with timber and another one at the rear. There is definitely no provision for a crane base in the front one because I have an earlier picture before the timber was added.

One way to determine where a crane base might be located is to take a picture from above, in the car park at the rear.

Well spotted Growadelaide. At first I could not see the crane base behind the rubbish bin. Fortunately today 12/8/17 the bin had been moved.

Steady flow of cement trucks entering and exiting the site this morning, looked like ground pour was underway and a pump also pumping into the rear-most lift core's formwork.

This one seems like a pretty slow pace so far but I guess things will move quickly once there's a crane and slip forms up and running.

Update after the ground floor slab was poured as at 4/9/17. Perhaps the tower crane could be completed this weekend ,weather permitting?

The tower of the crane is in place. Looks like this will be another electric luffing crane, along the lines of what we've been seeing pop up all around Adelaide. It's interesting that the Favco brand is diminishing in our state. Maybe due to their use in high numbers in Victoria, crane suppliers are having to buy new style stock?

Work on the crane continuing. Further sections have been added to the tower that were there at cob Friday. Looks like it will be quite tall to begin with.

Didn't grab a photo but walking past this morning the jib is up and this hammerhead appears to be completed and functional.

That core is tiny for such a big building. Surely there must be a second? Good luck waiting for the lift otherwise.
