Cant speak for the railway side , but i think the North Tce side is looking even better now they are nearly completion and have uncovered all the different tones of yellow throughout the building and facade. Will look interesting lit up at night.

I don't care who it is, someone (the government, ACC or Uni Adelaide) need to plant some trees and vegetation along that street frontage and perhaps consider something more sightly than a bitumen footpath, it makes the area look so bland; both in person and in pictures...

Pavers have been used all along the streetscape in front of the New RAH but turns to ugly bitumen once in front of the SAHMRI. Then gets even worse in front of the Convention Centre where all the concrete pavers are cracked and lifting.
SA gov or ACC need to pull their finger out on this one.
A real let down for the area.

The quality and design of the streetscape in front of the universities, gallery and museum should be continued terrace-to-terrace, as befits the aspirations we have for it to be our 'cultural boulevard'.

As far as I know, that project was only for the KWS to Frome Street section, I don't remember anything regarding other sections.

The council has funded $5m to upgrade the Frome Street to Botanic Gardens section, which will happen within the next year or so in tandem with the tram extension.

Agreed with both of you, but these sorts of works are probably best left until after construction of the buildings has finished. It would have all needed to be redone afterwards otherwise.

On the note of pavers, I wish the whole city in terms of streetscape had the feel of near uni sa on west Hinley st, nice pavers and trees

Isnt there special funding for keeping North Terrace's streetscape picturesque with new pavement, etc due to it being a "cultural hub" or is that just restricted to east of KW Street?

I wouldn't mind betting this will be done after the UniSA building is finished. Seems more logical to do the whole stretch at once. Give it a few months...

These buildings look absolutely awesome - such an improvement to this area, really looks like you're entering a big city when coming in from the West.

Hello, first time poster, semi-long time lurker.

When I've walked past the building, I've been struck at how imposing it is. The pillars and the wall of glass really looms above you. Even though it's 20+ smaller than Telstra and Genfell, this one feels taller. It has a real strong presence.
