Yes agreed!! I'd say this building and the Uni SA one, but this more so this one has the biggest street level impact than any other recent development and one of the biggest in the CBD. Like mentioned would be an improvement to have some new landscaping and pavement but won't be a deal breaker for how impressive it is if that doesn't eventuate IMO.

What I love about this building is the variety of design components to it - it reminds me of some of the more interesting features of buildings in Melbourne's Docklands.

The angle in the first shot makes it look almost identical to the initial renders. I agree, I feel this is a great addition to this part of the city. Certainly has striking angles and shape. Compliments stage 2 and 3 of the convention centre.

Great vantage point Chilly. The service rd and carparks look weird/silly from that angle. Future parklands or future building?

That carpark is on the other side of the traintracks from AHMS / Nth Terrace & I think its railway related. There is a long term idea/thought experiment floating about to cover the rail lines with a plaza & redevelop that land as parklands, but it could be many years before that happens.

Arguably the most striking building in the CBD at nighttime.

It started way behind this... The core of this was already halfway up when UniSA broke ground. The UniSA building is a better design and the facilities and interior treatments will likely be better than those in the Uni Adelaide building based on the quality of other UniSA developments.
