Found this today, not sure when it was taken. I see they are calling it 108 Currie Street, should we change the name of this thread?

nah probably just the uploader's error, interesting find though
the uploader is the developer. They actually use 104-108 and 108 alone in various places

Up date Saturday 18/8/2018. Not much left only the ground floor front wall, part of the west side wall and part of the basement on the west side.

Walking past this morning, the build is now just rubble and 50% of the scaffolding now removed.

Shouldn't be to long before the site is completely cleared.

I'm actually sad to see that façade go. It was from the days when brickwork was arty as well as functional, there are not that many examples of it left :(

That building looks well and truly finished. Any second thoughts about preserving the historical character and nature of this development have well and truly gone...

That is unless they want to preserve the rubble... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Same. I like this development and am looking forward to seeing it progress, but am also a bit sad to see the old one go. There are still a few good examples down in Port Adelaide.

On Chesser House (corner of Grenfell and Chesser Streets) they managed to incorporate it into the design, and it works well there.
