This building, the king william proposal, adelaidean and realm which change be such a change on the skyline. Hope that they are just a precursor for what is to follows and that others
such as twin st, park hotel on pirie, the festival centre tower follow but then much more. Hopefully within the next decade we see our first 150m+ building and within two decades our first 200m+ building

Personally I feel this is one of the most important developments in decades
That part of town and in particular Currie St has been crying out for development for far too long

they are excavating a basement at the Currie St end of the site. Sorry cant see much detail in picture. 11/12/2018.

Here is a better picture of the excavation, the street level is where the earth remover is in the back ground. There is a mini excavator in the bottom of the service pit. The orange 'pipe' is actually a brace holding up the 2 sides.

This is probably my favourite - Sofitel are a v good hotel group and this will make such a difference to the activity level and users of Currie street and the CBD

Like the Realm at the east end will change the feel of Rundle Mall, this new hotel will really make Hindley street feel more like part of a CBD

There is a lot of column and foundation work underway and will be very good when this one comes out of the ground

Last one and then I will stop banging on about it

If the final product is anywhere near as good as the plans / render, this hotel and apartments could well be a bit of a game changer for Currie street

There appears to be 2 service cores one towards the front and one near the centre of the site
