This project is going before the DAC this thursday.

23 levels, mixed use of apartments, offices and ground floor retail.

Doesn't look like a architecture masterpiece, but will await better quality renders.

Whoa this one's a bit out of the blue.
Some serious height happening there relative to the surrounding area.

Those renders aren't great, so hopefully we get a few more soon. It's not a masterpiece, but it looks pretty good from what I see here. I'm not sure I like the "panels" (not sure what they are) to the left of the apartment balconies. That said, it's definitely better than the North Terrace proposal of a similar height. And of course it's great to get the dense "city" feeling spreading out to more of the CBD.

How tall is the nearby SAPOL headquarters? That's the only thing that comes close to this building's height in that area.

Agree entirely.

The last 2 pics give you a rough idea of the height differences, especially the Pulteney Street view. About twice the height.

Sadly they have spelt 'Angas' (after George Angas), 'Angus' after a breed of cattle.

As others have mentioned it's no masterpiece, but it's got good height and the design isn't bad. Thumbs up from me :)

About time more development happened along Pulteney Street.

I also think it looks good enough... apart from the flat-top "overhanging roof feature" thing. Takes away from the sleek factor... unless that was the goal, to reduce the impact of the height and help it get approved. In which case, I don't mind, as long as the height remains. Gooooo Pulteney!

I was having a read of the planning documents and found that this proposal will be called "Sky Apartments", and will likely be serviced apartments.

The proposal is designed by Loucas Zahos - the same firm behind the currently U/C Art Apartments.

Also, it is interesting to note, that the project was initially 18 levels and 56m, prior to undergoing design revision.

I believe this one is alive and resubmitted much taller. 30+ Stories. Hopefully confirm more info soon. Next to the new Calvery Hospital should be a popular spot.

Apartment proposals awash at the moment! Great to see.

So this is the reason the hospital won't cover the whole block...

I forgot about this proposal but do remember clicking on this thread briefly last year, looking forward to more updates!

I like it so far - (using some imagination from the renders).Seems we are getting a number of relatively narrow - one pair of sides - rectanglar bldgs . Also seems we are developing a new ceiling from the old 18 levels to 30 floors in several new proposals, moving in a general SE direction.

Do you happen to know if there's a new design in the works or if it's the same design (only taller)? Or will we just have to wait and see?

If it's 30 storeys high, that puts it at about 92-93m tall if the current design is extrapolated. Since that's probably the case, I hope this one sees an updated design - the previous one was okay but pretty run-of-the-mill, albeit more excusable as it was a run-of-the-mill height by Adelaide's standards.

At a height of 90m+ in this part of the city, this one will be very prominent, so it deserves a nicer design, perhaps something like the east tower of 260 Flinders which also occupies a small footprint.

I'm getting a bit inundated having to update the future skyline. I haven't actually posted those images I made earlier to SSC, and since then we've got 40 and now another 30+ storey proposal to show off. I might start actually believing we will get a new tallest some day soon if a couple of those 100m+ proposals go ahead.
