For a change of pace, it's the eastern wall that looks terrible, not the western. Those windows are shockers. I actually think I'd prefer a blank eastern wall if those would be are the only two options.

However, I don't mind the rest of it, even if it's a little lacklustre. But I quite like how it's set back with a podium.

The windows on the building's backside are fine. I can't imagine the black shades surrounding them will look that bad in real life.

If those windows look bad on the renders, they'll look worse in real life... People were optimistic about the Origin Energy building on the corner of KWS and North Tce, look how that turned out...

The eastern exterior will only be seen from a small section of Hindley Street. Past that, it will be blocked by the Bank St Hotel (no idea what's called).

Tbh I just want to see that hideous L.C House demolished.

A couple of tbe businesses on the ground floor have closed
down already. We should see demolition later this year and construction
next year.

If construction is due to commence before the years end, why is it going to take THAT long for it's completion? It's a 39m tall building, not a skyscraper!

Fencing has been erected along the perimeter of the building.

So looking forward to seeing this ugly blight removed!

Another update...

This lovely facade has finally been removed to show off the original exterior. Already looks 10x better.

Thank god we will never see this again

This section of Hindley Street is looking better these days with the recent makeover of the Polites building, Prince Berkley Hotel and this project.

Does the facade still look the same as in that old picture, crawf?

And how long until it's demolished? Can someone who will be in the area please get some pictures as soon as possible, before it's gone forever? I would be super appreciative.
