Nice building. :applause: Pity it’s not another ten storeys taller. It would be so imposing. Now we await the second stage. Hopefully we’ll be blown away.

Cheers

Shame it’s not a bit taller, otherwise it’s alright.

If the parklands are so important why dont they put it to a vote state wide? Or are they afraid the majority will back this hotel..

Doesn’t look great from that angle. Pretty much only looks decent on Franklin street and even then it’s only the podium. Just my opinion.

On the other hand, a bloody welcome change from the sea of glass boxes. Each to their own. I'm not one for modern architecture overall, but this building does enough for me.

I like the variety of facades, and i actually think this development adds great value texturally. One thing that is highlighted though is the height ceiling, there's a lot of 60-70m towers there, the area is crying out for some height variety, that's for sure.
Walking on over....

Adelaide is an odd city. In some areas its crying out for glass towers, and in others there's too many of them.

What it’s really crying out for is modern, great architecture. Old, new and inbetween, what you city has so much of are boxy towers.
