I think its important for me to explain the situation of what just happened.

Some people liked the message on the beer. Others didn't. Things got a little heated and then they cooled down. It was maturely handled and discussed by me, SRW, Mpol, citywatcher and everybody else.

Did we really need to lose our posts that were opposing the Whitmore place? Just because a few people had an issue with it, doesnt mean they had to be deleted too.


So I say again - I will be avoiding this place in the Whitmore Hotel. Politics in a pub? No thanks.

Agree, why was my post deleted? It wasn't abusive or against the rules, it was an opinion of a place I did not wish to attend. Are all negative views about developments now going to be deleted?

Please be consistent in your moderation.

You only want to criticise the politics you don't agree with
The point is pubs can align themselves with any politics they like and what you're free to do is choose to go or not go there
