Mate, have you ever heard of Palladium on Light or New Mayfield and how are they going these days ?

Hindmarsh and Tagara were appointed as the builders respectively.

Ah "Mate" both projects actually commenced. So as my original point i do not know any projects that have gone to tender that have not proceeded to construction, i never said completed.

I was just pointing out that Ben was probably a bit naive with his comment.

Construction could still be a couple of years off on this project. U2 went to tender more than 2 years ago and
we still don't have a crane onsite.

I agree. I think its silly to think that just because one project took a while to get construction started, it will happen to every new project. And Ben is certainly not naive

GHS, it's interesting that you mention U2 - a project which you repeatedly proclaimed was 'dead' which is now very much under construction. I do wonder why you continue posting on this site when absolutely no-one wants to hear your continued negative and ill-informed commentary. I agree with others that we really need a 'wanker' emoticon in order to facilitate response to your posts.

I'm thinking the sales must be slow going for this one, which is a shame as it's probably my favourite of all the current proposals.

Received a phone call from them recently, having registered well over 18 months ago. Hadn't heard from them since the start of this year when I did tell them I was no longer in the market for an apartment.

Some buildings take time. I wouldn't give up on this one. This was only spoken about in 2015. Ignoring Vue and Adelaidean and you'll find its still fairly new in the midst of Adelaide developments.

I can't recall saying I'd given up on it. I was just hoping it would be under construction by now given the big talking by the owner/developer.

The Owner/developer hasn't built anything bigger than a couple of retirement villages 3 and 4 levels. This project is way beyond anything they have attempted before. The only other project I have known them to propose are the Grenfell apartments which didn't eventuate and also one on Angas street which was about 8 levels which also didn't eventuate. Given Gerry is in his 80's now and this will take at least 2 years to complete the clock is ticking..

This previously had apartments/commercial space advertised on realestate/realcommercial and the like, however there's no trace of anything now. Not a great sign..

Edit: I did actually find the listing for this on realcommercial, however the ad was right at the back of the listings & it hasnt been updated since September.
