My only gripe with this redevelopment is that they haven't done any kind of restoration of the facade, so the paintwork is what it was before and in daylight it kind of brings down the whole new look. The footpath out the front is pretty average too, mostly bitumen, hopefully the council have plans to rectify this.
The colour suits, IMO.

The colour suits, IMO.
It's not the colour, the colour is fine, it's the fact that the facade is a). in person it looks quite dirty from the construction works, and b). the paintwork for the formwork features on the facade have faded from having not been touched up in years. Circled examples below, remember that the sign was once a dark red, and the other ornamental bits were a darkish green.
