Yes, also hope this is Aussie glass not cheap Chinese imports. Quality and jobs are important.

most glass comes from China, some just gets strengthened or moulded differently here.

But this will be imported glass directly from China.

Are there plate/window glass factories in (South) Australia? The glass factory at Kingsford (past Gawler) only makes bottles as far as I know.

This gives me hope for this development. Seeing more of the facade as it climb higher shows that there is some decent reflective qualities to be seen. As the tower proper commences, and the facade is more uniform (without the screening) it could be quite striking. Fingers crossed.

A couple i believe, there is one near the Churchill centre. As i understand they still get the base product from O/S but do all the custom stuff here.

A view from the other (west) side from near Pulteny St.

Traffic on frome road is a nightmare as a result of this development blocking off two lanes
of cars.

Frankly, I am sick to death of waiting 15 minutes to drive along Frome road from Pirie street to North terrace
when it should only take 2 minutes. And it's all due to the construction of a building being constructed
on a shoe string.

I'm not sure what they make but there's O-I on Port Road.
