The thread title needs correcting. The stated 230m is above height datum (AHD). This corresponds to height above ground level of approx 195m (PANS-OPS level).

The developer built Aria. U2 is now under construction. I would regard them as having more credibility than most developers in Adelaide. I am working on this project. I'm confident that the developer will build on this site and it will be the tallest building in Adelaide.

I assume Rev's 'comment' is an attempt to provoke me into releasing images. There is zero chance of this. Everything is strictly confidential until it goes in for DA, which should be soon.

It's all well and good to tells us this but your detailing is all so vague. What harm would there be in at-least telling us a rough time when we will see this go before the DAC?

Both Aria and U2 are not award winning designs but they both look good enough , especially U2 - and time will tell. So hopefully this comes to fruition and the design is of better quality again. I all for height but I would rather a 195m tower than a 230m tower in the near future.

Of noteworthy importance too, I understand the Feds are currently in the midst of reviewing airspace regulations nationwide. Fingers crossed this translates into some positive outcomes concerning PANS-OPS limitations.

Since it's been bumped by others, I'll take the opportunity to provide an update. I've been refraining from commenting due to the response I received earlier in the thread. It should be obvious to a sensible person why a professional can't divulge project images or specific details prior to planning submission, especially for a project of this scale.

The design competition concluded two weeks ago and the successful design team has been selected. It's a joint team of two respected architectural firms with a great track record locally and nationally, along with a team of experienced tall buildings engineers. The team have achieved an elegant design which will be a fitting tallest building for our city. The project is now focused on the approvals phase ahead. The proposed 195m height (i.e. up to PANS-OPS) obviously presents challenges from a planning perspective, but the project has significant support from key people in our city.

Suggest renaming thread as 207 Pulteney St as the 'Dominator' name is being dropped.
