Why? Prospect is one of the most minor of all the road entries to Adelaide. The only less worthy would be something like Medindie Rd. Maybe you meant Main North Road.SBD wrote: Prospect currently makes sense as the main road from almost all of the country except Victoria, Tasmania and southeastern SA.
Entries to Adelaide/North Adelaide:
Glen Osmond
Hutt
Unley
Peacock(King William south)
Sir Cowen Lewis(Morphett south)
Goodwood
Anzac
Sir Donald Bradman
Glover (Henley Beach/Currie west)
Port
War Memorial
Jeffcott
Prospect
Main North
Medindie
Melbourne
Bundeys
Botanic (North Tce East)
Rundle
Bartels (Pirie east)
Wakefield
Is that 21 entry points?
The main entries for tourists are Sir Donald Bradman(Airport) , Port(from South Rd/Northern Connector etc) and Glen Osmond(SE Freeway).
Anzac would see a bunch of tourists to/from Glenelg, McClaren Vale, Victor Harbor and Kangaroo Island.
I would add Mann Rd(North East Road route) to the list of majors as it has land available and is the North East entry to the CBD. Botanic just isn't the same as Port, Anzac and Glen Osmond; Mann is their equal.
