Much of the "bad blood' with the neighbours was not their fault but was caused by road works along the length of Gray St which blew out and was nothing to do with this project.

Green walls at this scale are really a first for Adelaide. I hope it turns out well and sees future applications if so.

One step closer to Practical Completion
[COM] Re: 89-109 Gray Street | 59m | 17 Levels | Student Accom
The ground floor is largely complete except for renewing the foot path and gutter. Some plants have planted on the east side green wall . Click on Pictures for bigger.

As at 7/8/2019. nothing has changed the ground floor is complete and every thing is waiting while the Adelaide basically restores the foot path and gutter. The site still looks my picture above as at 7/7/2019.

The building itself is complete and they have been accepting students since July 1.

more than 6 weeks and the Adelaide City council is still stuffing around with the foot path, how hard can it be. Perhaps they will have to bring back Work for the Dole.

It's a council, they aren't known for completing tasks in a timely manner.

I'm pretty sure the developer has at least financial responsibility to restore any council assets damaged during construction. Maybe they're chasing money?

It might not be the council. Usually the developer is in charge of returning the path/road to the condition it was in prior to the development.
[COM] Re: 89-109 Gray Street | 59m | 17 Levels | Student Accom
No its is the council they are putting new light poles. Synergy went to great trouble to protect the existing light poles. A builder is only responsible to return public (council) property to its original existing condition, not for any upgrades.

There have been some upgrades to the footpath, including a few rain gardens.
