Three photos from this weekend

I would be interested to know (from someone more experienced than me in multi storey construction) on an estimate of how long this project is from completion.

There are pretty well 4 floors of steelwork yet to be completed then the fit out. But with the (probable) low quality of internal finishing and the "drop in" bathroom and living areas etc (that may take less time than a "normal" fit out). I am guessing it is still 6 weeks for final steelwork and external cladding and then maybe another 2 -3 months after that of fit out, so that it will get practical completion sometime around mid April - May, and ready for students for the mid year intake?

In estimating construction times one should not include January as most builders and/or suppliers are on annual leave.

Update 22/11/2019, a view from western approach to city. A vast improvement over the tied 1 and 2 story junk that was there.

That sounds like a major "oops". There's also something missing from the story - a "giant chain" doesn't "plummet down" and only break a vertical bus window without damage to the roof or other panels.

It's a pity FiveAA couldn't be bothered going outside and taking a new photo. Based on the history of photos in this thread, their photo was taken some time between September 20 and October 3 last year. The tower for the hammerhead crane was up, but without a crane on it yet.

Going by the following render I suspect it's just construction egress to be fitted with another wall panel as it nears completion?

Is that a mistake on the far right side where the panels are not zig zag?
