Drove past this a little earlier and it definitely looks better in person, it's not great but it is not a complete hatchet job. Lets not forget the jewel in the crown (the green wall) hasn't been installed yet, so the final outcome still has a way to go. Some notable greenery on the skyline would look great imo.

I actually quite like this one. When you compare it to the other student buildings like dwell and the cheese
grater on waymouth street, this one has come up quite nicely.

The northern service core is being painted /rendered dark grey ("monument"). Also the footpath is being repaired and cleaned up. Pictures 18 may 2018. Click on pictures for bigger.

I wonder if the Synergy cowboys will get much more work after this.
Delays, poor building practices, bad blood with all sorts of neighbours and to top it off an ugly building with some design flaws that didn't get noticed.

Until you notice the "design f'aw" now houses the Uni Lodge" branding, and it was deliberate all along....
