Actually, seeing those side-by-side I think I might prefer the new look. I do miss the arches, and there's the unknown upper aspect of the new design, but it looks a little more coherent now. Either way, I hope it's serious proposal given CBD residential is soon to come to a standstill.

Someone asked on Facebook yesterday who the builder was, and whoever is running the page replied that Watpac would be. Still no development application though... all a bit strange ?

Watpac built the developer's first project in Grote St and have negotiated their spot for this one.

That’s enough to turn me off buying in that project knowing all the issues they had with Kodo. They should stick to commercial.

Actually the two rounded winged-roofs would've made this development more dated. Something out of Flash Gordon. Now it will look more like all the other apartments, so if it dates all the others will too. :lol:

I'm aware, however the top of the building wasn't visible in those photos.
