As far as I am aware, this project has not been cancelled but rather put on hold for at least 2 years.

I don't see anything wrong with this Omi, more activity for people to do in the CBD, backpackers, residents and city workers all will benefit. I think it is a good idea instead if the site not being occupied.
Why not create something out of nothing for now?

Sounds like they want to construct a fun park for the so called designer homeless people that are
to be housed in the cheap housing above the new adelaide bus station... maybe its supposed to
keep them occupied rather than vandalising the new bus station...

I actually never liked the development that was to go on this site. Personally, I'd rather see the church retained, its red-brick facade is something I've not seen elsewhere in Adelaide.
