250 East Tce. This project was proposed sometime around March/Apr 2016 and was approved late 2016. The project started Jan/Feb 2017 when they dug out the basement, so it has taken 16 months to get to this stage. There is usually only 3 or 4 people working on site, (5 is a crowd). (The Barcelona Cathedral which started in 1916 is now making faster progress). Pictures 25 Feb start of digging basement and excavation finished 12 March 2017.

by how good is he
The rumour I have heard is the owner who I think is also the builder hasn't got the construction finance approved but is using his own money to [slowly] start construction and I assume to stimulate sales and get finance approval. Which I guess is better than just having the empty piece of land just sitting there? It also may help to comply with the planning/building approval without needing to seek an extension?

The back 1/2 of the footings has been concreted and the front 1/2 (nearest Tapleys St) is still to be completed. The service core is in the centre where all the timber is. At 9 stories I don't know whether this site will get a tower crane or not. Picture 27/5/2018.
