They didnt even show up...

Ok well to clear up any confusion, it was called Westfield Kilkenny when Westfield first purchased it, but Westfield noticed most customers still called it Arndale, so once the Arndale company was no longer in business Westfield adopted the name!

The subsequent owners since have kept the name too!

They adopt whatever it is the general pubic are used to / have grown up with, sometimes the suburb name just doesn't have the same ring nor is what people refer to it as.

Imagine a Westfield Modbury or a Westfield Oaklands Park.

I mean the outside of the building.

Heard today that Coles at Arndale will be closing in early February.
Perhaps something to do with the previously mentioned Stage 5 redevelopment??

It was Target, then Arrow, then BI-LO.

Spoke to a Coles worker and he has heard a rumour it may become a Foodland once Coles vacate. He is not sure if Coles will be gone forever from Arndale but it appears so.
