The Masters site at Colonnades is right around the back of the centre near the new Fresh Food precinct

We also have an Anaconda and Spotlight in the homemaker complex which is no more than 2 minutes away from the site. Most big-box format stores that exist across Adelaide have a site in Noarlunga, so I'm not sure what will take up the tenancy. Only time will tell

There are three Chemist Warehouses in Modbury now.
Pelican Plaza ( technically not Modbury, but close enough )
Tea Tree Plaza
Modbury Triangle

I saw a sign saying one of the stores next to JB was closing. I don't know if it was Anaconda or the place next to it.

This thing has gone up recently, next to the parafield store. Note sure if this development applies to the vacant building or the empty block next to it.

I've heard from someone in the know that Bunnings will relocate to this site

So what would happen with Bunnings Mile End? Considering Coles/K-mart ect own it, could they build shopping centre here?

While the separation between brands means they largely operate as different companies, Kmart/Coles/etc, along with Buntings are all owned by Wesfarmers.

Probably turn it into a storage facility.

I wouldn't think so...land is too valuable to be a storage facility. If Coles, K-mart, Liquorland and even Officeworks [all Bunnings/Wesfarmers owned] wanted to leave as tenants on Anzac Highway, Kurralta Pk/Keswick, this would be the ideal site and no more landlords. They could do what Woolworths did at Brickworks - develop a new centre, put in place cheaper long term leases for their own businesses and then sell the centre of for a big profit.

I'm still wondering what's going to happen with the former Munno Para (Smithfield) store...

Wesfarmers do not own the Mile End Bunnings store - it is owned by BWP Trust - a listed property trust that owns a portfolio of Bunnngs stores that it leases to Bunnings.

They announced a couple of weeks ago that 7 of their stores were impacted by the Masters closure - with Bunnings planning to vacate these stores and relocate to former Masters sites.

The Mile End store was not one of the 7 so won't be closing if Bunnings moves into the former Masters site.
