Good News. Common Sense prevails and their objection has been withdrawn, meaning NFC can finally get on with building their much needed new clubrooms/Community centre

I spoke to the club last weekend. Construction of the Wolf Blass Centre will commence once the SANFL season concludes.

Speaking to Norwood FC yesterday...this development The Wolf Blass Centre) will kickoff once the current SANFL season is complete. ie late Sept, but more likely early October.
Already memorabilia has been removed from the Premiers Bar at the very southern end of the Centenery stand(and under the Baulderstone Stand) to be placed into storage ahead of demolition works.

This one progressing nicely. Onto second level works this week.

Site huts also onsite at nearby Nuova apartment site (near water tower) and some geotechnical testing at peregrines hq last week. This area is going to be very busy with construction works in the near future! Can’t wait to see that end of the parade abuzz with a bit of medium density. Will be a vastly different feel to how it currently is.

update 24/2/2019 a view from Norwood Pde. This project is nearly complete. there is a 2 level car park fronting queen St so it is not possible to get a decent west side or rear view,
