This development is for a motel, not a 5 star hotel. This location is fine...

It's also appealing due to the design of the street and the backdrop it would create, especially if other buildings of similar size are built adjacent and across the road.

Do the other buildings depicted in the render and labeled Potential 4-5 Storey Building simply show what could potentially be built on these sites?
I think those are included just to make the proposed building seem less like a sore thumb. Hopefully this building does provide stimulus for others.

That's what I was thinking. Is 4-5 storeys the height limit for this area?

That balcony greenery is fanciful; this will look like a late 70s block of flats in reality. But for the area, I guess that's still an improvement.

This architect is a basic draftsman at best. I've seen quite a few of his completed developments (at concept through to completion) and the seem to be cut and paste, cheap and nasty stuff. The company must be one of the cheapest Architects in Adelaide, as all the low cost developers seem to use them.
