I think the whole bridge looks far better than any other motorway bridge I've ever seen anywhere.

I finally found the time and the inclination to drive out to this and have a good look, not to mention a drive along it. It's really quite impressive and what an amazing insight into what we might eventually have when/if the entire North-South corridor is turned into (presumably) free flowing 6-lane roadways. It's a strange feeling to be in suburban/industrial surrounds and driving on super smooth multi-lane tarmac at 90km/hr... until of course you get to the beginning of the Torrens to Torrens and reality slaps you in the face.

I still wonder why north side ramps aren't provided at Major's Road for a more direct access to Lonsdale Road.

Personally I think it's the Liberals trying to turn it into a political issue against the government.
However if I was the government, I'd oblige them just to shut them up.
