Not until the start of March. The figures for November 2016 will come out next week.

In other news, Adelaide Airport has welcomed 8m passengers in 2016, a new record!

Evening all,

For anyone interested in A380's.

Emirates A380 A6-EDM operating 'EK407' AKL-MEL is diverting to Adelaide. ETA is 2115.

Nathan's post in the General CBD Development thread reminded me to post this tonight:

Can AAL please please just put up the funds for Qantas to update their gigantic logo in the check-in area? It was irritating enough when the branding was from the previous generation, but now that they have rebranded once again, seeing the massive in your face 'old old' logo (as Nathan put it) really annoys me.

The new pet hotel at Adelaide Airport, currently under construction on the western / Tapley's end of the airport, has an opening date of 28 August, 2017.

The personalized pet stay hotel, run by Guide Dogs SA/NT, will be named Beau's, after the first guide dog to be trained in Australia in 1951.

Qantas should pay to update their own signage. Write an angry email to them.

Is the Adelaide Airport curfew 11pm? I feel like Guns'n'Roses were in a real rush to leave tonight...

Morning all,

From June 1st 2017, China Southern will upgrade Adelaide flights to 3-class A330-300's replacing the 4-Class A330-200's.

Adelaide Airport heads to the cloud for automation

Interesting piece with some info about the developments going on at the moment....
The cloud-based technology is expected to streamline Adelaide Airport's management of aircraft parking, boarding gates, check-in desks, customer information, and other mission critical airport terminal services.

Baffling decision
Huh? Adelaide ranked nation’s WORST airport
IT’S clean, spacious, easy to get to and full of nice shops. But the World Airport Awards just ranked Adelaide as the worst of Australia’s six main international airports. Why?

Air New Zealand will add three weekly 787 flights to Auckland to the existing A320 services - surprising but pleasing announcement. I'm still hoping for direct flights to the South Island.

Mate, have you seen our international departures/arrivals area? It's a joke... If it were referring to the entire airport I'd understand your concerns with this ranking but until we have a permanent international terminal, this ranking is fair.

How is Adelaide ranked worse than Sydney :hilarious: :hilarious:

If anyone has never experienced US airports, Adelaide is plain sailing compared to them. I visited many airports throughout my stay there and the only one that was comparable to Adelaide was Indianapolis.
