I went to the Fork In The Road tonight at the Depot, it was jam packed, good atmosphere, so many people.

I highly recommend having a look at Paul McDermott's art exhibition at the new downstairs bar and beyond at the Tuxedo Cat on North Tce. It really is great :D

Yep, it opened Monday. It had a pretty schmick fit out, qualified bartends and I love that it has open windows to the square, BUT it wasn't my vibe, so I doubt I'll be a repeat customer. I'm sure it'll be popular enough with the professional types around the precinct.

Amazing fitout, great quality cocktails, poor barstaff. While friendly enough, most of them would brely reach the legal age to serve alcohol and were clumsy, unprofessional and just plain awkward at times. poor choice of staffing IMO. Everything else is topnotch.

The Barossa Vintage Festival 2013 is on soon.
March 30 - April 7.
Not quite in the city but sure to appeal to many in the city/country and visitors.

It's the "largest and longest running wine tourism festival in Australia with a history spanning 6 decades!"
http://www.barossa.com/events/barossa-v ... tival-2013

That's 9 days and over 100 events within the Festival.
A good followup to the 'Mad March' festivities and provides an alternative to the Oakbank Carnival for those not interested in jumps racing etc.

Little Miss Mexico will remain open despite the Fringe being over. Great news.

Surely not. What would be the point of going to the trouble of getting a licence extension for just 10 days? (They closed on Sunday, but thanks to the extension, re-opened today.)

Went to the annual Adelaide Kite Festival today for the first time! Not bad at all, was expected to be attended by 40,000 people over the four days. Definitely could grow a lot more if publicised more!

Quite more people arrived and more kites went up.

The Oi You! Urban Art Festival will open soon in Adelaide, starting with an Opening Night Party on April 19.
This street art festival will run from 20 April - 2 June.

The event has support from the ACC, through Splash Adelaide, and the State Govt. and Festival Centre which will provide a hub for events.

A large annexe will be built outside the Artspace Gallery. Events include an art exhibition, scrawl wall, street-artist guided tours and screenings of documentaries and the great $5000 art giveaway with tokens hidden around Festival Centre Plaza. Some art works will be created on selected large walls by some Australian street art gurus during the period of the Festival.

Neat! Supporting these types of events is the ACC at their best. Good onya Yarwood & co.
