Do those light strips in the cladding have any meaning or significance?

One could possibly be southern cross? Other constellation references? Not sure.

They're meant to signify neutrons... After all it's a medical school building.

Interesting concept. Not sure of the outcome though.

I'd always assumed it was southern cross because of the uni motto.

Anyway couple more. Click for bigger:

A simple google search would help you apply the connection, otherwise read through the proposal papers for the building which is where I recall reading it.

So Adelaide uni have built their brand spanking new medical school next to the NRah. They've spent
a lazy $246 million on the building because they can see the benefits of being co - located with
the new hospital. Assuming that this building will open early next year, the ironic part is that it
will be open several months before the new hospital. Some of the things which happen in this
state are amazing.

That the University students needing access to the RAH will have to trek back to the other side of the city for at-least a couple of months (likely to be longer) and there is not even a tram (yet) to make this journey easier.

All but the top two floors of the building are expected to be done by February.

Good one, comparing a huge complex like the NRAH to a single building.
Only you.
