Devon Park needs to be renamed as its always confused with Davoren Park and no one wants that.

Some of the bigger suburbs that almagamated three suburbs into one should devolve back into smaller ones. The size of some areas is ridiculous.

Prospect is a good example that could be divided into three smaller ones; you'd just tinker with the name a bit into like Prospect Gardens, Prospect Park, Prospect South.

I find that the smaller suburbs, like Bowden, Croydon, Hindmarsh, Thebarton, etc. all have a really strong sense of community pride and identity because of the smaller geographical scale of those areas.
Any views and opinions expressed are of my own, and do not reflect the views or opinions of any organisation of which I have an affiliation with.

My little section of Croydon apparently used to be called Wolseley.

I plan to campaign for the immediate reinstatement of Wolseley at which point, presumably, I will be crowned mayor and given an ivory stick with a golden ball on top.

I would like to see the German town names in the Adelaide Hills reinstated.

I agree, let's give it a more South Australian touch and rename it "Fritz Park".

Not really to do with the size of those suburbs, more to do with community groups in those suburbs who've put the work in.

Cut the 'park' from the plethora of suburbs we have named 'Something Park'. Most of which have ironically little or any quality park space.

How about selling off naming rights on a lease of X amount of years for suburbs?
