Passed by Bowden tonight and got a few shots

Firstly, this is the view from Gibson Street. The track is now in place and a bridge is being constructed next to the original Bowden Station.

On the Park Terrace side, a lot of barriers and protectors are now in place, making the station difficult to photograph. Here are my two attempts (Note that signalling is already working)

A few photos from the train today. Sorry, no video this time :) Photos are ordered Gawler -> City

Pedestrian crossing near the underpass is now all fenced up.

The train line will definitely be open, Bowden and Croydon Station I'm still not sure about. There should be an announcement this week.

Also, it has been confirmed that Croydon Station will reopen on the 15th - although it will not be finished until the end of Feb. I think in the meantime limited platform areas will be opened with temporary lighting but shelters, access ramps, lighting, PA system etc will be installed over the coming weeks.

Have the platforms at Adelaide Railway Station changed yet? The big switch between the OH and Gawler lines. Something like platforms 1 to 3 Seaford / Tonsley; 4 and 5 Belair: 6 and 7 Gawler and 8 and 9 Outer Harbor / Grange.

Yes, it's been in operation since December 4.

Pics from Bowden Station from this morning. Still some bridges to be opened, but good to get up close and personal with it today.

Best suburban station on the metropolitan rail network now, I'd say?

To set an example for any further new stations in the network, I think it would be appropriate to install ticket barriers at Bowden now rather than later.

Close to it, but I'm still waiting on key features like arrival screens. The roofing used for the shelters also looks a bit cheap, but it could just be temporary.

I think Adelaide and Adelaide Showgrounds are the top stations for me at the moment.
