The "little cricket match" is an international fixture, it cannot be moved to another day. Moreover, back in July or something, the Board negotiated with the Government to guarantee that the trains would be running. The Government have since reneged on that arrangement, or, more likely, had forgotten about it, and now Mr KaNoll is being the recalcitrant schoolboy who won't accept his error.

It's not an error. He's done nothing wrong. We don't even know what this essential upgrade is, it could save hundreds of lives. If thats the case, we should be thanking him.

Given trains are currently running, it can't be an issue with the current signal controls, so it has to be a problem to do with the new control centre

There's probably an OH&S rule against listening to politicians. I am reliably informed that listening to the Australian Federal Parliament or US politics can lead to severe brain damage involving loss of balance and perspective, as well as an increasing loss of connection with reality and morality.

But, if SACA has a beef, then it ought to be listened to with a degree of seriousness. I say that as someone who has had an elderly relative willing to share his SACA Member's pass, but never been bothered to use it.

I think Marion might be better renamed to Westminster, as it is adjacent to the school. Also, arguably more “memorable” than Park Holme.

While we’re on this, why couldn’t Kilburn be relocated out of the backstreets, and shifted 500m south adjacent to the Churchill Centre shopping centre and Costco? Create a decent pedestrian link to the new station and I bet patronage would be double or triple what Kilburn currently is.

Call it Churchill station, and make it a good size park and ride station. It doesn’t require too much vision to see the potential of this station once the Gawler line is electrified.
