Fantastic!!!
Bring these up to the north western suburbs a, through to Port Adelaide and we will have a developing beach suburban district.

A recent photo of Glenelg that I found on an AdelaideNow article.
The ferris wheel should be made a permanent structure.
That rusted crap next to the jetty should be removed and a platform closer to the water should be built, allowing surf rescue boats/jet skis to dock, with stairs/flat walkway leading to the top of the jetty. Light the underside of the jetty up similar to the torrens foot bridge but more of a glow. Would look great with the ferris wheel lit up at night.

I know Marshall made it an election policy to contribute the first $20m to the major re-development of the jetty (potential Hotel, Marine centre, blah blah blah). Nothing more has been said..anyone know anything?

And coming up to one year now...surprised the opposition or anyone else hasn’t even questioned him about it..
Re: Glenelg | Developments & News
I don’t think he has implemented any of his promises. I think if they don’t improve they will be out at the next election.

Hey Ben, how about you list all of his promises. Has the Liberal Party been in for a year yet? What has upset you so much that you want them out already?
I can list more than a dozen achievements that have a serious impact on this States economy, employment, infrastructure etc. Yours is a pathetic ignorant partisan comment. Maybe the mods should introduce a 'no political bullshit comment' rule for this forum.

Calm down. "a dozen achievements that have a serious impact on the this States (sic) economy, employment, infrastructure etc." Name them. Depends too what you define as "serious" I guess. Honestly though, in a state the size of South Australia - with the amount of money the State Government even has, I'd argue it's actually difficult for them to have what I would consider a serious impact on any of those things. Furthermore, many of this State's problems (think loss of heavy manufacturing, the so called "brain drain, etc.) are far beyond the control of a State Government.wilkiebarkid wrote: ↑Thu Mar 07, 2019 8:38 pmHey Ben, how about you list all of his promises. I expect any proposal for the Watermark site to...well, go underwater, because one of the key men behind the two-year-old project, Bruno Marveggio, has declared himself bankrupt.

The site you are referring to is Comfort Inn which was sold to a Chinese Investor [in Dec 18 for $11.6m] who intends pressing ahead with the project. Btw, The Watermark was recently bought and is owned by ALH [Woolworths/Mathieson].
