When they were constructing the oval an excavator sunk into the wet ground and they paved over it.. Or so the legend goes.

Given the oval won't be touched the technical answer would be no right

I'm surprised they didn't take the sponsors signs down before tearing into them with demolition equipment. Lots of companies seem to be sensitive to imagery like that.

Are the light towers getting re-used elsewhere? I heard they may be heading overseas. I hope they aren't just turned into scrap metal.

The actual towers them selves will be scrap metal, the actual light sections at the top will be reused.baytram366 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 23, 2018 2:03 pmAre the light towers getting re-used elsewhere? I heard they may be heading overseas. I hope they aren't just turned into scrap metal.
Apparently they are being sent to Papua New Guinea for cricket.

These seats are going to be recycled, I'm assuming? Anyone know where they're headed?

Mostly amateur clubs I'd say. The SANFL clubs would already have what they wanted I'd dare say.
Any left will probably be scrapped.
