I agree that ground activation is a good thing, but we don't need a café in every single building, especially in a more residential area like this.Ben wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2017 4:55 pmForme Projex takeover of Hurtle Square continues. The bad thing i haven't noticed about a lot of their developments including the most recent Hurtle Square one is there is no ground leve3l activation. they are apartments that have screening up for privacy. Doesn't look great. In the squares especially cafes etc should be almost mandatory for ground floor.

I agree with Norman, I live just around the corner on Gilles Street and can tell you that almost every café on this side of the city that is outside of the Hutt Street strip is dead. I think the decision not to include ground level retail is actually a smart move, more chances of someone buying a ground level apartment than a small business surviving.Norman wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2017 5:00 pmI agree that ground activation is a good thing, but we don't need a café in every single building, especially in a more residential area like this.Ben wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2017 4:55 pmForme Projex takeover of Hurtle Square continues.
