Its turned out better than the renders, but it is still a cheap looking building. The only thing I like about it, is the slender nature of the tower.

Walking past it 3 times a week, I gotta say, its easy on the eye. Not glamorous but not offensive.

The way that it doesn’t honor or hero the original building is sad. It looks like a cheap box placed on top of something special.

It looks extremely odd to say the least.

Question: how does the south face fare with the wtf window placement after the fins were added?

I stand corrected, this building looks pretty good on the Adelaide skyline.

The window to conrete ratio / size of the windows, as well as the uniformity and regularity of the windows and fins, gives me vertical prison vibes.

Really dissapointing outcome IMO considering how beautiful the heritage building at the bottom is.

It looks not bad at all from a distance because the scale of it is deceiving, standing out by itself it looks bigger that it is which makes elements like the windows not seem so stingy.

Once you get up close however, ouch.

Click for bigger. Was hot and hazy so had to do some editing meaning colours may be a bit off.

Nice photo. Switch definitely looks better than Dwell, which is moving further and further into oblivion thankfully.

What I noticed from that photo is that there is still industry in the background of the city. Thanks for an interesting view.

On the left I believe that is Adelaide Brighton Cement in the distance. One of SA's biggest companies.

Not the most flattering picture of Adelaide
