Also Uniting communities probably around the same time as Calvary and North Terrace and Waymouth Apartments.

Any word on Kodo, seems to be dragging their feet now...

your guess is as good as mine. If they do start in November it will be a year since they launched/approved which isn't terrible by Adelaide standards.

Latest national stats are out. Just shows how behind we are. Canberra is even beating us :(

http://www.afr.com/real-estate/commerci ... 018-gs5810

Sydney 305
Melbourne 128
Brisbane 94
Perth 48
Gold Coast 34
Canberra 24
Adelaide 15
Newcastle 9
Hobart 4
Rising crane numbers in Sydney, Canberra, Gold Coast and even Adelaide and Perth pushed Australia's total to a new high in the September quarter, even as Melbourne and Brisbane took a dip, the latest RLB Crane Index shows.

The biggest-ever housing construction boom drove Sydney to a record 305 cranes and the country to a new record 663.

However, the latest six-monthly report suggests developers in the Victorian and Queensland capitals are holding back on starting new jobs as the current wave of apartment projects completes.

Melbourne's decline to 128 from 148 – the first decrease in overall crane count since March 2014 – reflected a net decrease in both residential and commercial cranes as residential tower projects in towers in the CBD, Docklands, Southbank and South Yarra approached completion, as did commercial projects including the extension at Chadstone Shopping Centre.

I think Adelaide should get back to around 20 soon with a few new projects all hitting the ground fairly soon.

Kodo
Urbanest
Calvary
Uniting Communities
Waymouth Student
Carmelite Glen Osmond
Parl Central Bowden

There are still plenty in the pipeline too which is positive. Can't ever see us getting to 308 though haha.

What is concerning is the rate at which the other cities are growing in comparison to Adelaide. The national relevance of Adelaide (and South Australia) is steadily diminishing making it harder to attract head offices and hence investment capital.

Below is an extract from a table from http://blog.id.com.au/2016/population/a ... australia/

Significant urban area Population June 2015 5 year growth 5 year % growth 1 year growth 1 year % growth
1 Sydney 4,526,479 343,008 8.2% 77,565 1.7%
2 Melbourne 4,353,514 399,575 10.1% 86,796 2.0%
3 Brisbane 2,209,453 190,379 9.4% 33,702 1.5%
4 Perth 1,958,912 235,694 13.7% 26,163 1.4%
5 Adelaide 1,288,681 63,013 5.1% 11,970 0.9%
6 Gold Coast 624,918 53,518 9.4% 10,798 1.8%
7 Newcastle – Maitland 434,454 23,938 5.8% 3,964 0.9%
8 Canberra – Queanbeyan 424,666 26,236 6.6% 2,825 0.7%
9 Central Coast 325,082 12,492 4.0% 2,202 0.7%
10 Sunshine Coast 302,122 24,918 9.0% 4,864 1.6%

The hammer head crane on Woodville Rd was erected about 21 may 2016. Badge constructions is building an aged care centre for Bupa. See picture on previous page on June 6th. This crane is counted amongst the 6 suburban cranes.
