Btw, I had for the first time a driver with two phones - one for UBER and one for OLA. I guess a bit like playing the stock market, trying to maximise his return to earn the best or most fares.

The other stats that would be interesting to know are the load factors out of Adelaide.

Don't have the load factors in and out of Adelaide. That's something AAL or the individual airlines would be able to supply. Here are the (total) load factors Australia-wide for each airline. Still makes interesting reading.

Thanks for the stats.

I don't see any reason why international traffic through Adelaide couldn't hit the 2 million mark in the next 10-15 years, you'd imagine they'd be aiming big. It's been shown demand is there if the flights are made available.

Qantas flights to Chile and South Africa pretty much full all the time. Those are 747 services as well.

Norman, thanks for posting the report year ending 2018. Would be great to have the individual airlines load factors for Adelaide. Even better would be to have them per month for the whole year either 2018 or year ending in March 2019 etc. This helps in choosing flights that aren't full. Wishful thinking.

While that would be nice, I think it would be commercially sensitive data that the airlines don't want each other to know about, publicly anyway.

From an operational perspective, a low load factor means that the airline used too large an aircraft. If it has one available, it should just schedule a smaller (i.e. cheaper per flight km) aircraft.
