By examining the photo close up the depth of field seems to be correct if the sharpest point of focus is the closest building, baring in mind a telephoto lens has a shallower depth of field than say a standard or wide angle focal length lens, meaning this has not been cropped to the degree of using ...

That area including over the railway tracks, in my opinion should be reserved for a nice high rise building, it's a skyline changer that spot. The stadium does look good there though.

Why can't we have something like that in Adelaide? Give it time Adelaide too will be heading towards becoming a world class city one day. I very much doubt Adelaide will ever have a skyline like Melbourne, and that's okay. It doesn't have too, but it can be unique and world class in its own right.
