Yep, If I was a larger developer/investor, I would avoid South Australia like the plague. We really are a joke when it comes to planning.

They're not going to knock it down, same structural plan as previous building, just a different internal plan and facade

for $50 million dollars you could probably run express buses from the city to the proposed location for the next 20 years.
