Agree with everyone here about SIN being redundant. I would have thought ADL-HKG would make more sense if their plan is to start flights imminently. Aside from CX delaying their return here, QFF pax could at least then try their hand at decent reward flights to other Asian or even Euro destinations ...

I was against a second walker tower here but now that I have seen this beauty, I take it back!

The 187m height doesn't reference RLs or AHD and really, could be anything. I'm not even sure there has been a height increase yet.

The renders have changed to reflect the increased height, compare the last one posted to the original.

I didn't realise that the show court was getting a makeover as well until I drove past the site today. Yes, it looks quite good from a distance thanks to its height and slender form. Honestly it’s by no means good, but I also don’t hate it…could have been worse if it were untreated concrete ala Dwell.

Surely not allowed to butcher a heritage facade like that (I know it’s just paint but still)?

Honestly I don't hate it - at least the cladding looks decent and not ugly untreated concrete ala Bentham St or the Waymouth St student accom. It would have looked much better if the fins were continuous though, they look so tacked on.

So far looks like one of the many county jails you would find in downtowns USA. It is early days but I actually find it oddly insulting that such trash would be not only proposed but approved, on North Terrace no less.
