$53 million and it is getting no increase to the capacity.
A capacity increase isn't the pressing issue though.

Re: News & Discussion: Cycling

$10 million should get an east-west bikeway It would have. This is basically the money that the government would have chipped in for the bikeway (had the ACC not been the ACC) just re-allocated. The extra lighting in Bonython Park will be nice, but it’s definitely small stuff. I’d love to see some ...

I also heard (but haven't verified) that the AFL had a number of people from Sydney and Melbourne they wanted to attend the event in person, to which SA Health flat out said "no".

Re: [VIS] New Concert Hall

The casino expansion already pinched awkwardly close to the Dunstan Playhouse, and this concept would crowd the area considerably more. There's no good reason for trying to wedge it in the middle of the Festival Centre.

Re: Adelaide Oval Expansion

It's the big round grassed area in the middle that's the bigger problem. All that space, for no more than 50 people. The capacity could be much higher if we filled in that gap.

My understanding is the SA Govt has some 40,000+ Aboriginal art pieces/artefacts/sculptures etc they currently own and in storage which effectively is just waiting to be properly showcased. However just because they already own all this "content" it won't preclude it from becoming a white...
