Just my opinion but this is one of the more modern arcades in the Mall precinct.
Really? The City Cross foodcourt behind Rundle Place, Rundle Mall Plaza, and Adelaide Central Plaza's. I'd even put it behind Myer Centre. The retail sections have practically no identity to them at all.

Looking at that, how they want to put bars and cafes behind parliament, it would have been better to sink the plaza and do that. But I guess a car park was part of their overall plan..
It's Adelaide. Car parks are more important than the things they serve.

So once the crane is down and the work site clears, what will the council's next excuse for delaying the Frome St bikeway be?

Re: News & Discussion : New Restaurants, Bars & Night Clubs

All the food courts have been struggling since Covid. There's still a significant number of people that haven't returned back to their offices full time, and it's reflected in the lunch trade. City Cross is even worse than Myer Centre.

If an entertainment centre (sorry, "multipurpose arena") is so good for hotels, an AHA member would have built one near the existing one sometime in the last two decades.

He's just using the current Grand Master's support for the tower as a reason to oust him.

$53 million and it is getting no increase to the capacity.

$10 million should get an east-west bikeway It would have. This is basically the money that the government would have chipped in for the bikeway (had the ACC not been the ACC) just re-allocated. The extra lighting in Bonython Park will be nice, but it’s definitely small stuff. I’d love to see some ...
