Re: Storm drain issues

Piping our stormwater out to sea is such a massive waste... Check out the last posts under this old topic: official complaining about the weather thread , and my idea of undergrond reservoirs in the South Parklands. I also had an idea of underground reservoirs at the Adelaide Airport fed by Keswick...

Interesting no one has mentioned a hammerhead crane was put up on Thursday 30 September. Don't have the time to go over there and take pics.

I figured that's why hammerheads were used on Realm, Adelaidean, Sofitel and 119NT.
You forget that when the State Bank building was built they used Favcos.

Re: Cheap Airport O-Bahn

The idea of just diverting water to drains in nearby streets suggests you haven't seen just how much water flows through that creek when it gets flowing after heavy rain. That's one suggestion out of several. At present you are talking about a 1-in-a-100 year flood situation as you'll probably know...

Here's some options I drew up a while ago for light rail... https://i.postimg.cc/fLsWqYFS/Keswick-Creek-Drain-Light-Rail-Options-3.png From left to right... 1. Above the drain 2. In the drain with water from drain diverted in new drains in adjoining streets. 3. In the drain with water piped in new e...

Has there been any provisions made for privacy for the Southern side of this building, or does that not happen when two multi-story building are constructed right next to each other?
Besides blinds or curtains what kind of privacy provisions were you thinking of? Not a blank wall I hope.

Why does a hotel need to have bicycle parking spots reserved for guests? Thus is surely a bizarre idea, a tourist who wanted to bicycle somewhere would ask the concierge "Where can I hire a bicycle for a day?' No-one expects to find permanent bicycle parks at a hotel, maybe some for the staff ...

1NEEDS2POST not sure if you received a private message sent to you back on November 22, 2020. Did some quick concept drawings (cross sections) of light rail to the airport using the Keswick Creek drain, which I've been advocating for many years. This would fit into a wider metro plan of rail upgrad...
