I'd be interested to know what the case is for an underground station being desirable. The areas either side of Elizabeth train station are still at a point where any new commercial development connected to it could probably be built over the station more cheaply. Not sure what it would be either, ...

They’re sadly mistaken if they think a hypothetical rural train service from Port Augusta is going to run through Elizabeth enroute to Adelaide…..

I just learnt that there's actually no suburb called Arndale. It's just the name of the mall. Whereas all the other malls in Adelaide (except Colonnades) have the geographical name/suburb to match the mall.

It would never happen, but a multi sport games event where only the Australian states, territories and New Zealand compete against each other would be cool.

Bored tunnels clearly result in the least disruption to the surface above them. I'm disappointed that once it's all finished, the trip to the airport from the north will use less of the motorway than we do now, as we will have to use the exit before Port Road. Im sure there are plans for an airport...
