Is security and graffiti removal now the responsibility of Keolis Downer? If so, they seem to have d...

The Southern Cross Arcade was only built in the 70s (1974 according to this: https://www.samemory.sa.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=1443&c=1205), replacing a much older hotel that was on the site. Another good photo of the original hotel here: https://i1.wp.com/timegents.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/sout...

This will have a tower crane in the next few months. Excavation of the basement should start in the next few weeks, with the crane base following this.

Re: Port Wakefield Overpass and Highway Duplication

Work is moving along at quite a steady pace on this project. The dirt ramps for the overpass look to be close to completion. I'd expect work on the bridge itself to start in the next month or so. Piling is also underway for the bridge to cross the Port Wakefield River. I'll be heading through this a...

Plenty of markings on footpath, verge and road along South Road between Hilton and up to around Richmond Road. Also spotted a large piling rig just off the road, west of the above. Piling rig is doing the geotechnical exploration to determine soil conditions along the corridor. Service locating and...

It's quite common on construction sites for photography to be forbidden. If for example hardhats are mandatory, yet I take a photo and someone isn't wearing one, and then something happens, it's possible my photo could be used as evidence for any potential follow up. Easier to have a blanket ban tha...

Seems kind of odd to fill the hole back in when they have to dig right through it again to make the deep concrete basement for the proton therapy equipment They need a piling rig on site to stabilise the ground around the future basement before they can start excavating the dirt for the basement. A...

Sutton and Mimosa had a bridge built across the Motorway at Darlington and they are much less significant thoroughfares than Pym St is. Does seem like a very short sighted decision
