The Bradman Stand was a shitpile. I don't know whether people are loathe to admit it because it bore the great man's name, but it was horrible. Rubbish views, dated facilities and too far from the action. Not to mention the woefully inadequate shade it provided. Unless you were in the back 2-3 rows...

Wouldn't be too far off I suspect. Can't wait to go up - it's going to look awesome.

Selfish? Yeh, but they have a point in this case(especially if that independent engineers report is accurate). You can get a report to say whatever you want it to though. There is no way the "independent engineers" had access to the level of information that the government and department ...

just another day in paradise http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/adelaide-city-council-wants-tall-trees-to-block-adelaide-oval/story-e6frea6u-1226659240552 Just further proof that the ACC councillors should be seen and not heard - they are a blight on this city. I would like to propose a motion that some...

Just another embarrassment.
Agreed. It just seems so dumb to electrify so little of it. Electrify it all or none of it as electrifying part of it means Gawler trains can't use it anyway.

Oh ok, so it is a kids playground then. Hmm. Well I wasn't really expecting anything more so that's ok. Would be wonderful to have a real adventure playground that everyone can enjoy in Adelaide though. I know there are one or two such as St Kilda, but they're very dated and lame. Monash is maybe a...

What I noticed more in that pic was the removal of a bay of seats from level 2 of the Western Stand. Not sure why any of those seats would need to be touched. A box for the coaches ? Doubt they'd put the coaches boxes there, but it does pose the question of where the coaches boxes will go. Hope the...

God, I wish I had seen that! I love those old nostalgic moments you get when you remember things like that! Really though, if anyone has pictures of that, it would be awesome if you could upload them! For some reason, as someone born in 1990 and has no earlier memories of there than about 1997, I'm...

Does anyone remember TTP back in the late 80's and early 90's in the food court when there was a man man creek and bridge? As a child I was fascinated by it all back then but then they got rid of it and was so disappointed. It had small plants and everything. Does anyone have any photos of this? Lo...
