A smart move IMO. Agree with the logic of why they're doing this.AdelaideAlive wrote:parking restrictions around north Adelaide for Adelaide oval

Re: News & Discussion: MetroCard System
The only drawback is the set amount of $5 blocks to recharge? Why? Why can't people top up how much/little they want? Because it costs money to do this and is inefficient. If you are recharging $1 at a time you are wasting the shopkeepers time and money. I was referring to recharging either online ...

Re: News & Discussion: MetroCard System
Have jumped onto the Metrocard bandwagon and got myself one.
$5 for the card plus $5 for initial credit is a good buy-in. Touching on in pretty simple, and quick to process.

Re: News & Discussion: MetroCard System
Hopefully the discounted weekend fares, monthly and yearly passes come through.
Another thing I'd like to see is a capped daily rate on the Metrocard i.e. maximum you pay per day is the equivalent of 2 x 2 hour fares (as what happens with Myki currently).

That was my thoughts too. Chop down the trees and you'd have a perfect view of the city - especially at night.AdelaideAlive wrote:as i predicted ,nice view of the stupid trees rather than the city itself, wasted opportunity

http://youtu.be/HIcyQBduWEI Answered my own question. Complete beat up by the Libs again. On one hand you've got the MP for Adelaide petitioning to stop the footbridge because we can't afford it, then Vicki Chapman calling for the Hajek Plaza to be redeveloped. Make up your minds. State Libs really...

I also understand some retrofitting will be done to provide some further protection from the elements in the undercover sections. Complaints abound (apparently) from regular AAMI Stadium attendees that AO offers significantly less protection from the elements (rain, wind). Presumably caused by high...

Does anyone know what renovations/modifications are being made to The Western Stand? Thanks! From what I've seen from the pics so far - New interchange benches - New premium seating on level 3 of the 'red seats' - Football media centre on level 4 of the 'red seats' I also understand some retrofitti...

Is the Coles/Kmart actually going to be built. Besides the fading signage there appears to have been no progress made on the site.

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor
South Road is owned by the State Government and its delegate, DPTI. The National Road Network which you speak of, only applies to roads which directly link two major population centres - i.e. the South Eastern Freeway - Dukes Highway - Western Highway (between Adelaide and Melbourne) corridor. I th...

That few? I would have thought they would kept it at 8.Norman wrote:3 or 5 I think
3-5 is ok if it's only the occasional match that's played there, but for use Adelaide Oval gets, surely they would need to keep a 8 pitch wicket.

It was made clear in the SACA meetings that it will be FIFA compliant, this is the major reason for the resurfacing works to make the surface lazer level. International rugby can also be hosted with Adelaide being eligible for "2nd tier matches" which may include teams like Scotland, Wale...

Thanks. Can't see any signage for the shopping center in the pics. Who is/are the anchor/s? I'd personally like to see Foodland give Woolies a run for its money. I can imagine based on the location it would be owned by the same family as Munno Para, Pasadena, Frewville etc with 'Adelaides finest su...

Gee the AFL Media Centre is looking like it's going to take half of level 4 of the Western Stand!
