Yes, I can think of more closed stores (5) than open stores (3)..
I go past the Aberfoyle Park site daily and it's been fenced off for well over a year, and nothing seems to be happening there..

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor
This is a very stupid decision for them to make, and I'm sure it won't be long after the Superway opens that they realise their errors. I hope they at least still release the study and receive community feedback and suggestions, so at least when they do get funding, be it federal or private, constru...

Re: U/C: McLaren Vale Overpass | $18m
The overpass is open now! Went over it not before. Left turn into mclaren vale is now closed for earth works, and southbound access is via Martins road and onto the overpass. Northbound is similar, using Martins then the overpasses. Both ways out of Mclaren Vale are to final design plan.

[COM] Re: APP: Brickworks Redevelopment | $70m
That's good if Woolies have pulled out. It would take the atmosphere from the markets. Unfortunately, the best solution - a refurb of what's there now, improving the non-heritage buildings, and the side events (golf, go-karts etc), would require a large investment, with very little return. So an int...

Re: News & Discussion: Toll Roads
I like this route, but I think if it were to go ahead it would be greatly objected by the Morphettville racecourse and it's patrons. I think the tunnel should also go under there, then under the tram line and Anzac Highway. I assume there will be over/underpasses at Sturt Road, and at Marion & F...

Re: Public transport smartcard system
Thanks for that, has cleared a lot up :) I can see the Auto-Recharge structure changing sometime soon though. As I see it, recharges go through at 8PM Daily (assuming no delays), $5 for an Adult trip, when the card reaches below the threshold ($3.19*2 = $6.38). Assuming an adult were to travel in mo...

Re: Public transport smartcard system
Either I'm blind, or there's nothing on that page stating whether or not the credit put onto the card expires. Do I have a limited time to use it (ie. 6 months from recharge), or will it stay on there until I use it up?

[COM] Re: South Rd Upgrades - News & construction ONLY | U/C: Supe
Yes, there are ramps at the Grand Junction Road intersection. Only Northbound On and Southbound off though, and the Superway will be 3 lanes each way north of GJR, to accomodate this extra traffic, and 2 lanes on the southern section.

[COM] Re: #U/C: Southern Expressway duplication | $445m | 22km
Many of the currently under construction bridges have been delayed due to a steel fabricator going to administration. Well these things happen, but I think the bridge closures are causing very minor inconvenience now anyway (with exception to Seacombe Road, as Sturt Road is extremely busy now). The...

Re: Adelaide Station to close for a month
I would have thought the Noarlunga Buses (that aren't express) would go up Dyson Road/Lonsdale Road/Brighton Road, to somewhat follow the general line that the train route follows. Then I suppose head towards the city along Anzac Highway Also, to keep more buses away from the CBD, passengers could a...

Re: General Suburban Projects & Discussion
The Waterloo Station Hotel is making good progress on construction now. The building is starting to take shape, and looks very similar to the shape of the old hotel. Nearmap photos of the fire damage ( http://www.nearmap.com/?ll=-34.754448,138.628377&z=19&t=h&nmd=20110424 ) look like the...

Re: #Transport Projects
Sorry if this is the wrong place, but there doesn't seem to be a Gallipoli Underpass thread and I don't want to put it in the Superway discussion on South Road's thread. But it seems some new work as gone on the underpass in the last few days. I like it, especially considering the underpass's name w...

Re: Beer Garden
Something that I've been wondering every time I drive along Bridge Road, there are cameras on top of the pedestrian lights, and a few hundred metres south on the lights at Wright Road, and I can't quite work out their purpose. They look similar to part of safety camera's, but are facing traffic, and...

Re: Adelaide Station to close for a month
I think the major reason of the City station closure is for work to quickly and safely advance on the Convention Center upgrade. They are just using this opportunity to get as much as they can on the rail line upgraded as possible. I would say if they weren't doing the Convention Center, it would ju...
