Sure, this wouldn't stop traffic heading west on Cross Rd from being hit by an out of control truck, but neither would moving the stop line for the intersection further east. There's probably not enough concrete in all of Sout...

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway
With the revised extent of the cut and cover portion of the tunnel that was announced a few months ago, there are a few businesses still operating in buildings that will be demolished. The project maps seem to indicate that the OTR is the last one that needs to go, although I've also heard that the...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
If a line to Two Wells is built then a line from Two Wells to Gawler would be pretty good, creating a giant loop north of Adelaide

Re: Riverlea (Buckland Park) | 12,000 dwellings | $3b
Riverlea Park doesn't need a "metro"......an ordinary suburban train would be suffice. And Riverlea shouldn't be the terminus either....it should be Two Wells ...marking the contiguous end of the Adelaide suburban sprawl. Plan for it now.....reserving the corridor....making any new develo...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
Light rail down Port Road can, by extension, replace stops that may be removed from the OH/Grange lines: - West Croydon (possibly Croydon too) - Woodville Park - Cheltenham. Spend $X million demolishing existing train stations, then spend millions more to replace those same stations with tram stops...

Re: SA Economy
what a joke, no way Mt Barker is part of the Adelaide metro area. Its creative accounting to include it in the population stats. Same trick Dan Andrews pulled with Melton this week to cover up the fact people are leaving Melbourne due to his polcies. What's Dan Andrews got to do with anything in th...

Re: SA Economy
since when? did our premier pull a Melton trick to make Adelaide look like its growing? When the boundaries were established as a part of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016. For the record, I still think it's weird they're trying so hard to push Adelaide to the south east and ove...
